Privacy & analytics
What happens when you plan a quilt with ClothCount.
Updated 22 October 2026
Your browser calculations
The website calculates plans in your browser. Our optional analytics events do not include your measurements, calculation results, copied text, saved plan contents or form field values.
If you choose to save a plan, it is stored in this browser on this device. You can remove it using the saved-plan controls. Copying a result or prompt writes to your clipboard only when you choose its copy button.
Optional analytics
Optional Google Analytics and PostHog are off for new visitors. They load only if you previously chose to allow analytics in this browser. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals also keep them off.
Our events describe page views, the calculator or mode used, successful or invalid calculations, and successful result or prompt copies. We send only the known page path and fixed calculator or mode labels with these events. Our event payloads omit query strings, search terms, referrers and the contents you enter or copy. Analytics providers also receive technical connection information when your browser contacts them.
Google Analytics can set analytics cookies after consent. Advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled in this integration. PostHog uses an anonymous identifier held in page memory, with automatic click and form capture, session replay and person profiles disabled.
Read Google's privacy policy and PostHog's privacy policy for their handling of received data.
Change your choice
If you previously allowed analytics, use the control below to turn it off on this device. Your preference is stored in this browser under clothcount.analytics-consent.v1. If no earlier permission is saved, optional analytics stays off.
Turning analytics off stops our future event dispatch and clears the integration's named analytics browser state where accessible. It does not delete events already received by a provider. Reloading after changing your choice also ends any provider code already loaded in the page.
Hosting and connected tools
Cloudflare serves the website and connected calculation endpoint. Hosting requests include technical information such as the requested URL and connection details. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its processing.
When you use a connected AI client, that client sends the selected calculation's arguments to ClothCount's MCP endpoint. Those measurements are processed by the server to return a plan. This differs from using the website's browser calculator directly. The AI service's own privacy settings and policies apply to what you share in that service.
ClothCount's calculation tools do not purchase fabric, create an account, send email or submit your plan to a shop.
